Securicor Eases Staff Rostering at Heathrow & Gatwick Airports

Rostima proves its worth and Securicor Aviation enjoys significant Labour Scheduling efficiencies

London, UK – June 3rd , 2003 – Rostima Ltd, an acknowledged global leader in the supply of workforce scheduling software , today announced that Securicor Aviation Limited, the leading UK provider of aviation security, has selected its workforce scheduling and planning solution to deliver staff planning and rostering efficiencies at two of its largest airport operations, Heathrow and Gatwick.

Securicor Aviation launched a project in December 2002 to examine the benefits that labour scheduling and rostering solutions would have on a potential new security contracts at Gatwick and Heathrow airports. Following an exhaustive search of the market for possible solutions, the team invited Rostima to provide consulting services to help analyse how best labour could be managed and planned to accommodate the contract. The project highlighted significant labour scheduling efficiencies and increased operational productivity through the deployment of Rostima’s rostering solutions. In February 2003, following the successful project, Securicor Aviation purchased and implemented Rostima’s DutyManager and Scheduling software at Heathrow airport.
