Mr Kim Berknov joins Rostima as new CEO

Key appointment and new European HQ are in line with growth.

Maidenhead UK – 18th August 2004: Rostima Ltd, a global leader in the development and supply of workforce scheduling software, today announced the appointment of Kim Berknov as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Rostima also announced the opening of its new European headquarters in Maidenhead, Berkshire to accommodate the company’s continuing expansion.

In his new role Kim will be responsible for building on the company’s current success by spearheading its growth and the expansion of its customer base in the UK and continental Europe.

Kim joins Rostima from project finance and turn-around investment boutique Evergreen Capital Partners where he was Managing Director. Previously he held senior positions with leading companies in the USA and throughout Europe, including Aldata Solution, GE Capital IT Solution, McKinsey & Company, AT&T Global Information Solutions.

Kim is an MBA graduate from the prestigious IMD Lausanne, and speaks English, German and Danish.

Commenting on his appointment Kim said: “I am delighted to join Rostima because it is uniquely positioned to become the European leader in standardised workforce management software. Its client list, ongoing business wins and product development are impressive.”

Kim takes over the role of CEO from the founder of Rostima, Stephen Aitken, who takes up the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO).

“Kim brings to Rostima extensive international experience, a background in business consultancy, and a track record of success in growing businesses,” said Stephen. “His expertise will be invaluable as we step up our expansion programme.”
