World Leader in Foodservice Chooses Rostima Software
Rostima continues rapid growth in the retail sector as it delivers staff
scheduling efficiencies at Compass Group-UK.
London UK – 21st October 2004: Rostima Ltd, a global leader in the development
and supply of workforce scheduling software, today announced that the Compass
Group UK and Ireland has invested in a UK-wide licence and support agreement
for Rostima software.
Compass Group UK and Ireland is a £3 billion turnover business, employing more
than 110,000 people and providing catering and support services at nearly 9000
locations. It is part of Compass Group PLC - the world's leading foodservice
and hospitality organisation, which has an annual turnover of over £11 billion
and operates in 90 countries employing more than 375,000 people.
The agreement is for the implementation of Rostima’s Scheduler and RetailPlanner
tools and follows a successful trial of the software at Select Service Partner
– UK Rail (SSP), a division of Compass Group.

workforce planning and scheduling efficiencies, and operational productivity

time required to produce sales forecasts has been reduced and managers are provided

Rostima’s capabilities and we will now extend its use to non point-of-sale areas
of our UK operations."

improvements by closely aligning staffing levels with accurate sales forecasts.
